HopeLab is working to harness the power and appeal of technology to improve kids’ health. Their Re-Mission video game for young cancer patients and their Zamzee online rewards platform to boost physical activity in tweens demonstrate that specially designed technology can be both fun and effective in driving positive health behavior in young people. HopeLab is now exploring how technology can support resilience in young people to improve their health.

HopeLab’s nonprofit mission is to combine rigorous research with innovative solutions to improve the health and quality of life of young people with chronic illness. HopeLab works closely with young people to understand their needs and to incorporate their critical and ongoing input the organization’s product development.
